Sunday Spotlight and some bad news:(

So what do you think of my new Sunday Spotlight graphic??? I thought since I have been doing this every Sunday I need to have a picture to go with it:) Thanks to Hello Literacy for the fonts, Thistlegirl for the graphics, Mel Stampz for the background paper, and Print Candee for the doodle frame!

So now that I have my super cute graphic for Sunday Spotlight, I must get to who I am featuring this week! I have had the pleasure to get to know Tracey (via email) from Third Grade All Stars
She was the winner of my scratch off tickets. We have been emailing back and forth about setting up her own blog and TPT store.

She is VERY new to blogging and actually has her first follower...ME:) Last night she finally did it, and posted things on her TPT store and linked it on her blog! Go Tracey!!! So I went over to her TPT store and she has 5 products, 2 of which are FREE! A fun place value game and also a writing planning sheet! You really should go snag yourself up a copy...just click HERE:)

So to help Tracey get some followers I am asking you to do this...

1. Follower her blog
2. Leave a comment on her blog with a tip about blogging
3. Let me know on my blog you did this and I will send you my Making Memories in...grade for...wait for it...FREE:) Yes, I said it right...free:) SO get in over to Tracey's Third Grade All Stars and help her out today!

After hearing this great news, who wants to hear some bad news??? Not me really, but I have to figure out something. Well, our internet provider has gone bankrupt and as of Thursday July 5th we will no longer have internet service:( It is going to take about 2 months for everything to settle and for us to get the new provider. The new provider can't come in and set us up until the case has been settled! I am NOT happy and either is my hubby! He is sooo close to finishing his online classes! This is not coming at a good time at all! Looks like I will be going to the coffee shop daily or every other day! Ugh...I'm just not happy. I have come to realize how much we depend on the internet for everything basically! At least I have my phone to check email if I need to. So if I am MIA for a few days...that is why! Pray for me that the case takes less than a possible 2 months and we can have internet again!

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday...and Don't forget...my giveaway ends TONIGHT at midnight! Click on the picture to get there if you have not done so already!

I will be revealing my winners tomorrow with my Monday Made it! Make sure you come back to check it out!

  2. No internet! Oh my gosh, I don't know what I would do. I might have to do do those projects I keep putting off :( I just welcomed Tracey to the blogging world. She is off to a fantastic start. Plus after living in Illinois for ten years, it is nice to meet another fellow teacher from there. I now live in Wisconsin. Thanks for all the great ideas and making teaching fun.

  4. I'm so sorry about the internet, ugg! What a mess. Look on the bright side, if you have to go to the coffee house for internet, at least you can get a yummy drink! Trying to be uplifting, but I know how this must be so hard for you. I'll keep my fingers crossed it will work out very quickly!

    1. I LOVE the coffee shop! I mean, I am going to have to rotate shops so they don't notice me too much! It's bad when you go to a Starbucks and the guy knows exactly what I want before I even walk up to the register and then gives it to me for free...every time I see him. Then another barista was talking to me and he got mad! HAHA! He was like, "Now don't you be stealing my customer" Now that is when you know you have a Starbucks problem! LOL

  5. I was in the mountains for two nights and darn near went mad without the World Wide Web. Hang in there sweets . . . the coffee shop sounds like an okay alternative for now. On a happier note, I visited Tracey and became a follower :) Also, I LOVE the graphic you made. It's so stinkin' cute :)

  25. Tonya, first of all I am soooo happy to have found your blog! It is wonderful. I love the recipes, especially the crockpot pepper steak. I am a huge "crockpot-er" uespecially on Monday nights when my daughter has 2 hours of dance and we don't get home until late and I love to cook! So thank you. Also, I visited your friend Tracey's blog and became her newest follower. I told her that she was very lucky to have you guiding her. Like Tracey I am new to the blog world, and loving it! I would love if you would stop by my site sometime!
